Prior to the establishment of the World Football Federation, organized football on the planet Kimiina developed independently across multiple regions, governed by separate authorities with differing mandates, territorial scopes, and competitive frameworks. While these bodies succeeded in advancing the sport within their respective jurisdictions, the absence of a unified global authority resulted in regulatory inconsistency, governance disputes, and recurring challenges in inter-association competition.
Recognizing the need for neutrality, standardization, and planetary representation, the undersigned football authorities agreed to the formation of a single, independent governing body to oversee global football affairs.
Thus, in Season 8, the World Football Federation (WFF) was formally established.
The World Football Federation is constituted as the supreme governing body for association football on Kimiina. The WFF is responsible for:
Defining and maintaining the Laws of the Game
Establishing global regulatory, disciplinary, and officiating standards
Sanctioning and overseeing international and inter-league competitions
Safeguarding sporting integrity, neutrality, and competitive balance
Representing the collective interests of global football beyond regional or national influence
The WFF operates as an independent, non-aligned authority, distinct from all domestic and regional federations.
Early Governance (Season 1–2)
In 1994 (Season 1), the Buzillia Football Association (BFA) founded the first professional football structure on Kimiina, establishing the Buzillia League, Buzillia Open Cup, and Buzillia League Cup.
In Season 2, league expansion was accompanied by territorial restrictions limiting new club entry to the sovereign state of the United States of Buzillia, while allowing existing foreign clubs to remain.
Fragmentation and Expansion (Season 3–4)
In Season 3, the BFA announced the transfer of the Buzillia Open Cup to a new independent body, the Global Soccer Organization (GSO), effective Season 4, to preserve open competition.
Excluded clubs from the Gran Banana Republic, Dansk Republic, and Pandora Union formed the National Soccer League (NSL), launching in Season 4 alongside an interregional champions-style competition known as the Summer Cup.
Concurrently, the Elysian League transitioned to professional status under the newly formed Intercontinental Soccer Guild (ISG).
Inter-Association Competition and Dispute
By Season 4, three professional football authorities coexisted on Kimiina: the BFA, NSL, and ISG. All three participated in the NSL-organized Summer Cup held in Freestate.
The competition was marred by widespread officiating controversies, culminating in the withdrawal of BFA-affiliated club Eclipse from future NSL-sanctioned competitions.
In the same season, the GSO launched the GSO Open Cup (commonly known as the Global Cup), the first inclusive knockout competition featuring clubs from all three associations.
Need for Unified Governance
Persistent disputes over neutrality, competition governance, and officiating standards demonstrated the necessity of a higher, representative authority capable of overseeing global football without regional bias.
In Season 8, the BFA, NSL, and ISG jointly ratified the creation of the World Football Federation. The WFF was mandated to serve as the ultimate arbiter of football governance on Kimiina, while respecting the autonomy of its constituent associations.
Upon its formation, the WFF assumed responsibility for organizing the Summer Cup, restructuring and rebranding it as the Dominion League, thereby establishing it as the planet’s premier inter-league club competition.
Dominion League
The Dominion League is the elite global club competition organized directly by the WFF.
Qualification is granted to the top five clubs from each recognized domestic league governed by the BFA, NSL, and ISG.
Participation is based strictly on domestic league performance, ensuring sporting merit as the sole qualification criterion.
GSO Open Cup (Global Cup)
The Global Soccer Organization (GSO) operates under WFF authority as the organizer of the GSO Open Cup, an open knockout competition accessible to eligible clubs across all affiliated federations and tiers.
The competition is widely known as the Global Cup, reflecting its inclusive and planetary scope.
The Buzillia Football Association, National Soccer League, and Intercontinental Soccer Guild retain full governance over their respective domestic leagues, cup competitions, and internal regulatory affairs, provided all operations comply with WFF statutes and global regulations.
The ratification of this Charter in Season 8 marks the beginning of the Modern Era of Global Football on Kimiina, characterized by unified governance, standardized competition frameworks, and equitable representation across all footballing regions.
The World Football Federation stands as the guarantor of football’s integrity, unity, and continued evolution on a planetary scale.
